A number of events of economic and political nature will take place at The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine next week. The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine made the above-mentioned statement at the press conference in Zaporizhzhia, where V.Lytvyn is currently staying with a working visit.
According to V.Lytvyn, parliamentary hearings concerning budget policy for 2010 are scheduled for the next week. The Parliament also has to scrutinize approximately 100 Bills.
V.Lytvyn stated that the report of two temporary inquiry panels set up to investigate the incident with Yu.Lutsenko, Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, "will cause political turmoil at The Verkhovna Rada". The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine assumed the possibility that neither temporary inquiry panel would pass the resolution on the matter at the level of the panel, therefore, the Parliament would listen to the reports of separate members of both panels.
